About the Role
The Compliance Marketing Analyst plays a central role in helping our clients communicate their value with accuracy, credibility, and compliance. Marketing Analysts quickly become subject matter experts in one of the most dynamic areas of investment regulation and work directly with top-tier private markets and alternative investment managers, reviewing marketing and investor materials for alignment with regulatory standards. You will have the chance to master a complex rule set, apply sound judgment, and deliver thoughtful feedback that directly shapes how major firms represent their strategies and performance. You will also gain insight into how some of the largest asset managers and private funds operate.
This is a focused, detail-driven position, ideal for candidates who want to build expertise in financial regulation, learn a valuable skill set, and make an immediate impact through hands-on client work.
Key Responsibilities
Develop expertise in the practical application of the SEC Marketing Rule, with training and mentorship from Iron Road’s senior professionals
Review client marketing and advertising materials for compliance with regulatory requirements
Identify potential regulatory and disclosure risks, and communicate directly with clients to provide precise, well-reasoned comments and edits
Conduct performance and track record calculations to validate data
Tailor reviews to reflect each client’s distinct business model and communication style
Manage assignments through Iron Road’s project management systems to ensure timeliness and accuracy
Participate in client calls and internal discussions to refine approaches and maintain strong relationships
Skills and Experience
Undergraduate degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields preferred)
Demonstrated interest in financial markets, compliance, or regulatory consulting
Exceptional attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Strong analytical, quantitative, and writing skills
Client-service orientation and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills and commitment to meeting deadlines
