EdgeCore is on the lookout for a motivated and analytical Intern to join its Corporate Development team. Our 10-week, in-office Financial Analyst Internship is designed for college juniors eager to take on real-world finance challenges and make impactful contributions.

 

This hands-on internship places you at the heart of finance within the data center industry. You’ll take on challenging projects, build advanced financial models, and learn directly from industry experts committed to your success. For high-achieving interns, we extend full-time offers at summer’s end, allowing you to transition seamlessly into your career after graduation.

 

  • Financial Modeling: Learn to design, build, and manage comprehensive financial models, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections. Gain exposure to investment return metrics such as IRR, yield calculations, and equity multiples.
  • Reporting: Develop and interpret regular reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) that track financial performance, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Project Finance & Presentation Support: Assist in creating financial models and pitch decks for capital-raising initiatives, while gaining insight into the strategic presentation of financial data.
  • Due Diligence & Project Management: Support project management and due diligence for capital fundraising, acquisition, and development activities.
  • Industry Fundamentals: Gain an understanding of the data center sector, its unique financial metrics, and business drivers.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct financial analyses for the Capital Markets and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams, assisting in strategic decision-making.
  • Cultural Alignment: Exhibit behaviors that align with EdgeCore’s core values of integrity, quality, and confidentiality.

 

 

 

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field (expected graduation in 2027); strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong organizational abilities and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail and a foundation in finance and accounting, capable of creating both simple and complex financial models.
  • Team-oriented with a strong desire to learn, adaptable under pressure, and committed to delivering high-quality work on strict deadlines.
