Internship Title: Kindness Ambassador Host
Organization: NAMI Boulder County (National Alliance on Mental Illness) https://namibouldercounty.org/
Day-to-day tasks will include administrative support, assisting the Executive Director, monitoring social media, team meetings, and work on long-term projects. The long-term projects and scope of work will be designed during the internship, and will include public outreach, NAMI events (planning through hosting), independent projects (open-ended at this point - could be fundraising, writing, presentations, etc.), and team projects. Examples of projects that take place each summer include creating youth activities for the Family Learning Center Resource Fair and our NAMI Volunteer Appreciation Picnic.

NAMI is a grassroots organization of volunteers serving others in the community with the mission of helping EVERYONE who's lives are impacted by mental illness. It's a big job, and we're a small team, but that mission inspires us at all points in our journey and leads us to amazing places. It is a LOT of work, but it is also a LOT of fun. And it is a rewarding and life-changing experience. We're excited to meet you!
