Data Research & Analysis Intern

Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic data research & analysis intern to help us find, organize, and share open data with the public, with a focus on topics that are newsworthy or otherwise of high public interest to the community. You'll work with internal staff to cultivate and vet new data sets. You'll use your data analysis know how to visualize data for the public. Best of all, you'll make a difference in the community!

Potential areas for data analysis include: electric vehicle charging and usage, energy usage and budget data visualization.

You’ll be playing a key role in data outreach and engagement with internal staff. We will work with you to find projects that fit with your interests.

Qualifications
·      Strong research and data analysis skills
·      Data visualization experience
·      Passion for data
·      Excellent oral and written communication skills
·      Outstanding listener with an attention to detail
·      Self starter
·      A creative problem solver with a passion for data who can present complex information in a concise manner.
