We’re looking for an individual who’s interested in supporting our non-profit and learning what it takes to operate. From social media, blog posts, and most of all bringing a ray of happiness to the families we serve.

MISSION STATEMENT
Empower. Support. Connect. To support families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit {NICU} through facilitated support groups, provide grants for insured families who spend 4 weeks or more in the NICU to help obtain therapies that support the wellbeing of their child(ren) or to ease the burden of medical debt. Love for Lily provides services and essentials to help families to thrive during and after life in the NICU.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports Digital Marketing & Communications Director with the creation of social media content–graphics/images and copy–for Facebook and Instagram.
- Create compelling, shareable graphics to share across social channels.
- Write social media captions that match our voice and speak to our community.
- Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns.
- Our focus campaigns during this internship will be our Boots & Bling Gala.
- Prepare blog posts in WordPress using existing drafts.
- Collaborate with Executive Director to produce posts from notes and research.
- Publish blogs using family stories and partner organizations.
- Research potential partners (influencers, organizations, corporations, etc.) and send out communications to spread awareness and foster collaboration.
- Assist with our annual gala, Boots & Bling, from preparation to execution. This includes:
- Making donation requests for our silent auction.
- Photographing, tagging, and entering items in our silent auction platform.
- Creating social media posts leading up to the event.
- Completes all required documentation, follow established program protocols and timelines.
- Co-create goals and have periodic meetings around success.
- Openness to learning and feedback, this will be a collaborative process and include a feedback loop. We are a team and work together to create these materials and hone the messaging.
- Meet all hospital requirements. ie: flu vaccine, covid vaccine, background check
- Continue to develop knowledge.

Job Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
- Canva experience or similar software is a plus, but not necessary
- Basic understanding of Wordpress or similar or willingness to learn
- Organized and detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
